"Dont worry about those who came by boats;worry about those who came by votes".

‘Forgiving terrorists is left to God, but fixing their appointment with God is our responsibility’-Indian Army. This is the most read and spread SMS during the national security guard’s fight with terrorists in Mumbai. The message not only passes through mobile phones but also through Orkut, Face book, gmail, Yahoo!, etc. And after the NSG’s attack a group of youth in Bangalore created and circulated an SMS which describes “All 100 crore Indians should stand on the roads peacefully on Tuesday December 2nd from 12 noon to 12.30 pm with a message to force the government to fight terrorism with a firm hand and tell all parties to stop politics over terrorism.” These are some of the examples of the new generation media’s resistance against things that harms national integrity and security. Off course the new generation youth were also very much concerned and responds eventually against this situation. The country wide support from TV, FM radios, internet and mobile service providers helps them to mark their voice against this terrorism. Our youth are not only work with chatting, browsing and having Yo Yo.. The attack in Mumbai brings out one thing that our youth are vigilant. They are aware about fighting against terrorism rather than wait for political parties to take action. They were also saluting the bravery of martyrs. In Orkut after the brave death of ATS head Hemand Karkare, Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, and others the number of profiles created to salute them are uncountable. They express their gratitude towards them for saving the country by giving their on lives and also support to their family members. The SMSs against terrorism shows that our youth is in right way. We can take a breath of relief because they will not go behind terrorists for safeguarding their vested interests. They know it is time to protest against all the bloody things happening in the country in the name of religion, politics, community, language etc. At the time of encounter with terrorists in Mumbai the FM stations all over India have done an appraisable effort. Not only were they giving the songs which evoke proud and love towards nation but also supporting messages for the Mumbai people. After each song they give priority to such kind of messages rather than commercials. In fact for some days they forgot the profit making mindset. In another eye we can say it was an effort to increase their listeners. But doing such things even to raise the listeners is but for encouraging the nation. Whatever their mentality it should be appraisable. For example Big FM collects the opinion and other messages from all over India and sends that to Mumbai station. Thus provide Mumbai people a mind of relief that the nation is with us. Entire country expresses their support through the air, through the signals. With every ten minute gap Big FM, Radio Mirchi and all the other number one stations including the local stations spread new and heartening messages for the country and for the security guards. ‘We will face these challenges with unity and without fear. We salute India.’ This message beat up inside all Indians heart at the encounter time. Unlike the news channels which makes all the events ‘live’ and thus have got an order from the NSG not to give live visuals as it is helpful for the terrorists to know the outside situations, the resistance by another group consisting mobile, internet, Radio achieve their goal. Really they salute India.
