അസ്ഥിര മുന്നണി എന്ന ചീത്ത പേര് മുന്നാം മുന്നണിക്ക്‌ നേരത്തെ ഉണ്ടെകിലും ജനം എന്തുകൊണ്ട് അവരെ പാടെ അവഗണിച്ചു. മുന്നാം മുന്നണിയിലെ പ്രമുഘരായ സി.പി .എമ്മിന് എവിടയാണ് പിഴച്ചത്.തങ്ങളുടെ ഉരുക്ക് കോട്ടയായ ബെന്ങലുപോലും അവരെ കൈവിട്ടു.തത്വതിഷ്ടിത നിലപാടുകളില്‍ നിന്ന് കാല്‍ക്കുലേറ്റര്‍ രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തിലേക്ക് സി. പി.എം ചുവടു മാറ്റി എന്ന് ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക്‌ തോന്നി തുടങ്ങിയോ.വര്‍ഗീയവാതികള്‍ എന്ന് തങ്ങള്‍ തന്നെ ഒരിക്കല്‍ വിശേഷിപ്പിച്ച പി.ഡി. പി യെ കൂടെ കുട്ടിയതും , കാര്‍ഷിക വല്‍കരണത്തെ മറന്നുകൊണ്ട് കാര്‍ഷിക ഭൂമിയുടെ നെഞ്ചില്‍ വ്യവസായ വല്‍കരനതിന്നു ശ്രമിച്ചതും പട്ടിണി കിടന്നു പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തെ വളര്‍ത്തിയ കര്‍ഷകരുടെ നെഞ്ജിലേക്ക് വെടിയു‌ണ്ട പായിച്ചപ്പോഴും അവര്‍ പരാജയപ്പെട്ടു.പിന്നെ മറ്റൊരു മുഖ്യ കാരണം ചരിത്രത്തില്‍ ഇന്ന് വരെ കമ്മ്യൂണിസ്റ്റ്‌ പാര്‍ടിയില്‍ ഇല്ലാതിരുന്ന വിഭാഗീയത ."ശത്രുവിന്റെ ശത്രു മിത്രം" എന്ന ഫോര്‍മുലയാണ് ബെന്ങാളില്‍ പാര്‍ട്ടിക്ക് തിരിച്ചടിയയതെങ്കില്‍ കേരളത്തിലെ തോല്‍വിയെ കുറിച്ച് എന്തുന്യായമാണ് പറയാനാവുക.

“CHANGE WE NEED” like obama its time for us to take these words. As the last day of first phase campaign is over, the rest of hours is left to the people(voters). The campaigns witnessed wide usage of modern technologies. I was surprised to see advaniji smiling in the ad space of my orkut profile. The walls,trees,electric post etc seemed to be precious on those days.candidates and political parties competed eachother to paste and place more and more posters,fluxes etc. television channels,fm radios,newspapers proved that they can also do some. whenever I watch all these I thought of joe sir’s class, especially his words on financial crisis. Will these extravegance help our economy.
The deadline of election campaign ended in clash.hundreds of people including six policemen were injured in clashes in kozhikode. Mr N.K.Damodaran Namboodiri B J P candidate in kottayam constituency also injured in violence. The L D F and U D F supporters fought eachother in malappuram district and the police fired in the air and lobbed teargas shells to disperse violence.
candidates(from student leader to UN under secretary general) are investing more and more money knowing that they could get back their investment with enormous profit.but I don’t know why these foolish people fight for them.eventhough supporters fight and die for them, the leaders or parties have nothing to lose. Kerala is state with zen percent literacy,most of the youth of kerala are well educated ,now its time for them to think and realise why people of our state is still like some of those in North India ? If we die fighting for our country its patriotism, fighting eachother inside the country is “foolishness”.

ഒരു സര്‍കാരിന്റെ നേട്ടങ്ങളും വിഴ്ച്ചകളും തുറന്നു ചര്‍ച്ചചെയപെടെണ്ട സ്ഥലമാണ്‌ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് പ്രചരണ വേദികള്‍ . എന്നാല്‍ ഇകഴിഞ്ഞ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിന്റെ പ്രചരണ വേദികളില്‍ ഒന്നും തന്നെ പൊതു താല്‍പര്യ വിഷയങ്ങള്‍ ചര്‍ച്ച ചെയ്യപെട്ടില്ല.സീറ്റ് വിഭജനം, മുന്നണി ബന്ദങ്ങള്‍, വിമതര്‍ തുടങ്ങി അപ്രധാന വിഷയങ്ങള്‍ ഏറെ ചര്‍ച്ച ചെയപെട്ടു .അബ്ദുല്‍ നാസര്‍ മദിനി യെ മാധ്യമങ്ങള്‍ പ്രധാന തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് വിഷയമാകി. അതുപോലെ തന്നെ രാഷ്ട്രിയ പാര്‍ട്ടികളും അവരവരുടെ നേട്ടങ്ങള്‍ ജനങ്ങളില്‍ എത്തികുന്നതില്‍ പരാജയപെട്ടു. എന്ത് കൊണ്ട് ഇങ്ങനെ സംഭവിക്കുന്നു? യു. പി.എ ഗവണ്മെന്റ് ഇടതുപക്ഷത്തിന്റെ സഹായത്തോടെ പൊതു മിനിമം പരിപാടിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തില്‍ നടപ്പിലാകിയ പല ജനപ്രിയ പദ്ധതികളും തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില്‍ എടുത്തു കാട്ടാന്‍ കോണ്‍ഗ്രസിന്‌ സാധിച്ചില്ല. ഉദാഹരണത്തിന് ഗ്രാമീണ തൊഴിലുറപ്പ് പദ്ധതി, കര്‍ഷക കടാശ്വാസ പദ്ധതി ,വിവരാവകാശ നിയമം മുതലായവ.

The front page editorial titled “neethidevathayude mudapetta kannukalude sukam” published by the “kerala kaumudi” news paper on 18/12/2008 was a misleading distorted material. “kerala kaumudi” has no right to degrade any of the Judicial proceedings or publish anything that brings down the image of the Judiciary in the public.It is absolutely unethical and clear violation of law.such tendencies cannot be glorified.Media should avoid questioning Judiciary for mere sensationalism.

The communist party of india (marxist) had again proved that they are a cadre party CPI(M) had taken thorough decisions all times,so there is nothing new in it.Kannur M.P. A . P . Abdullakutty has been suspended from the party for one year for his view that Gujarat chief minister marendra modi should be taken as a model for development initiatives.The decision to suspend him from the party was a right one since his statement was against the policies of CPI(M).when the party demanded his explanation,he reacted it through the media. It is a strict violation of party discipline and action is taken against him. These strict&strong decisions makes them differ from other political parties.

“ I am ready to institute an award of Rs 25000 for anybody who can prove corruption in the treasury department”,the finance minister Dr.Thomas Isaac said on Monday. Now the state treasury department is corruption-free.congrats to our Hon. Finance Minister,if he said was true but can’t we make other departments like this. In many govt offices we need to give money from clerks to officers.The employees stands unite for this(corruption). In every govt offices there will be a black board placed outside stating that “if you find any corruption please inform the vigilance officer-in charge and a phone number to contact….”.but in this busy world nobody has time for this. We go to govt offices, spent some money and fulfill our needs.we don’t bother about anything else and we don’t have time too. The minister’s statement is very appreciable in such a situation.
But since its our state we can hope that anyone of us can surely win this prize money.

Majid majidi’s film ‘the song of sparrows’ is set against the backdrop of a remote world,that depicts the life of innumerous multitudes seen around us,their quest for survival and the chaos and confusions of their daily life.the story encompasses the simplicity of human life.
As the film unveils itself the protagonist karim who works in an ostrich farm is portrayed as a man devoid of any urban trivialities. He leads an appreciable life by maintaining his family ties.The film makes it clear that hardships of life solidifies human relationships.the film instills hope on the common man who is caught amongst the forces of society he lives in.
The crisises they confronts makes the endurance more and more hazardous.the story proceeds through several incidents.karim’s wife tries hard to meet the ends of life. His elder daughter becomes partially deaf as her hearing aid gets damaged.karim’s faces dire consequences as he losts his job. He tries to seek out his livelihood in the big town where he is mistaken as a two-wheeler taxi-driver.karim gets immersed in the busting urban world,which gradually transforms the otherwise pious nature of karim. He loses his innocence.
Majid majidi’s has always proved his mettle in portraying the psyche of children (eg:the children of heaven). In this film he introduces a group of kids whose fervent wish is to make a fish tank.children defies elders to fulfill their dream. Though initially karim forbids his son,later he understands them. Karim gradually understands life through the children.Here the personal experience is broadened into something impersonal.Though their dreams shatter ,children retains their hope through a single fish,with a sort of innocent faith that only children could possess.
The song of sparrows through its lucid style makes it evident that an excellent film can converse effortlessly. Though the film basically reflects the frets and frails of ordinary naïve man ,it also deals with comparitively grave topics like acute unemployment,impacts of urbanized globalization,the state of poor in our society and the way their dreams are conditioned.
